"The van will never be forgotten," she said with a soft, husky laugh. That time had been one of the more fun, sporadic times she'd had with him, and it just made her fall for him harder. He made intimacy fun. She laughed with him, and that was something she'd had a hard time doing before. She'd felt sometimes like her joy had been leeched out of her, like all of it had been sucked out and there was none left for her.

He'd changed that, and when he turned to kiss her, grabbing her ass, she pushed some of that joy for him through their link. "You're the only one worth watching." Cheesy as it may sound, it was also true. She hoped he knew that the images he had of her with other men were solidly in the past. Whatever mixed feelings she'd had for Luke, they'd evaporated when he'd slid into her life. She would always choose Diego. And she wasn't afraid to admit that. Not to him. Not to Luke.
